"Thanks to Ppurinkle, Own App Activation Without Fees"
Orders for bhc Chicken's 'Bburinkle,' which celebrated its 10th anniversary, have surged more than 30 times thanks to a discount promotion.
bhc Chicken announced on the 24th that orders for Bburinkle through its own app in October increased 34 times compared to the previous month. Since the 1st, bhc Chicken has been selling Bburinkle at 17,000 won, the price from 10 years ago, with a 4,000 won discount exclusively through its app.
As a result, Bburinkle sales dramatically increased more than 20 times compared to the same period last month. Additionally, Bburinkle's sales share rose nearly 20 percentage points from 33% in September to 52% in October. The top-selling products during the promotion period were ▲Bburinkle ▲Bburinkle Combo ▲Bburinkle Boneless, in that order.
The number of users who used the bhc Chicken app during the promotion (from October 1 to October 20) surged to approximately 500,000. This figure is more than three times higher than in September, and the proportion of sales through the app in bhc Chicken's total sales also increased by over 8% during the same period, indicating that the promotion significantly contributed to app activation.
A bhc Chicken official said, "We are grateful for the enthusiastic response from consumers to our app promotion selling Bburinkle at the 10-year-old price to celebrate its 10th anniversary. The increase in orders through our app, which has lower intermediary fees compared to delivery apps, has also resulted in high satisfaction among franchise owners. We plan to continue enhancing app benefits for both customers and franchise owners."
