"Future Mobility Looks Like This" - A Visit to the Daegu Exhibition

2024 Korea Future Mobility Expo Opens

The 2024 Korea Future Mobility Expo (DIFA) opened on the 23rd. It is a specialized exhibition for various future mobility means, including automobiles, and this is its 8th year. This year, under the name Future Innovation Technology Expo (FIX), visitors can experience a variety of new industries identified in Daegu, such as semiconductors, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and big data, all at once. About 190 domestic and international companies and institutions, including complete vehicle manufacturers, participated to set up the exhibition hall.

Hyundai Motor Company exhibited the 'Space Mobility,' a multi-passenger public mobility system symbolizing the vision of future mobility. It is a model that integrates the latest technologies such as autonomous driving, hydrogen fuel, AI, and software-defined vehicles (SDV). Hyundai Mobis showcased the Mobyon equipped with next-generation driving technology, the e-Corner system.

Top Mobility, an electric aircraft aviation business, displayed the Velis Electro, the world's first type-certified actual aircraft. Autonomous A2Z, an early-stage autonomous driving technology company, unveiled for the first time its unmanned shuttle and unmanned delivery vehicle, scheduled for mass production next year. Tesla exhibited the Cybertruck, which has not yet been released domestically.

At the UAM (Urban Air Mobility) special pavilion, SKT exhibited the virtual space experience simulator, UAM aircraft, and vertiport that were introduced earlier this year at CES. Battery companies such as Samsung SDI, Geumyang, and L&F, as well as local automotive parts companies, also participated.
