Mayor Kim Dong-geun Attends 25th Anniversary Ceremony of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex Completion and Entrepreneurs' Day Event

Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu City, attended the Entrepreneurs' Day event commemorating the 25th anniversary of the completion of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex on the 22nd.

According to Uijeongbu City on the 23rd, the event was held to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the completion of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex and to promote new changes and harmony among entrepreneurs in the complex. About 40 people, including Kim Jeong-in, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs' Association, former chairmen, resident entrepreneurs, and related officials, attended.

Starting with the greeting from Kim Jeong-in, Chairman of the Entrepreneurs' Association, and the introduction of guests, congratulatory speeches and commemorative addresses marking the 25th anniversary of the industrial complex's completion followed. Additionally, the Entrepreneurs' Association presented a plaque of appreciation to Mayor Kim Dong-geun in gratitude for his dedicated efforts toward the development of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex.

Mayor Kim Dong-geun congratulated the 25th anniversary of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex, which has led Uijeongbu's manufacturing industry since 2000, and shared key achievements pursued to create a high value-added advanced industrial complex, including the attraction of the Cloud Data Center and LH Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters, resolution of cultural heritage height restriction regulations, and solving parking issues in the industrial complex.

Mayor Kim said, “For the future development of Yonghyeon Industrial Complex, including the opening of National Road 43 and the connecting road to Yonghyeon Industrial Complex and the renaming to improve the complex’s image, I will do my best together with Uijeongbu city officials, and I ask for the cooperation and support of all entrepreneurs.”
