Enhancing Citizens' Understanding of Maintenance Projects and Promoting Project Revitalization
Goyang Special City held a citizen lecture on small-scale housing maintenance projects at the Baekseok-dong office building on the 19th. Goyang Special City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Lee Dong-hwan) announced on the 23rd that it held a citizen lecture on small-scale housing maintenance projects at the Baekseok-dong office building on the 19th. This lecture was the last of a total of three sessions as part of the Goyang-style maintenance project citizen lectures.
About 50 citizens interested in small-scale housing maintenance projects and future town projects attended the lecture, demonstrating the strong will of citizens regarding urban maintenance.
On the day of the lecture, maintenance project experts Lawyer Lee Kyung-ho, Director Kim Hak-joo of the Korea Real Estate Board, and Certified Public Accountant Lee Yoon-sil gave lectures on the topics of 'Smooth operation and inspection cases of association meetings,' 'Concept and project promotion plan of small-scale housing maintenance projects,' and 'Understanding the budget and accounting of maintenance project associations,' respectively.
The lecture was conducted focusing on maintenance project cases tailored to the general public's level, and at the end of the lecture, there was a Q&A session where citizens could resolve their usual questions.
An official from the Urban Maintenance Division stated, “We plan to hold additional citizen lectures on maintenance projects at the end of the year to enhance residents' understanding of maintenance projects and to promote project activation.”
