E8 announced on the 23rd that it has signed a supply partnership with GeomexSoft, a GIS (Geographic Information System) specialized company, for the sale of solutions in the B2G market.
E8 is actively expanding partnerships to strengthen its comprehensive sales strategy in the digital twin, simulation, and image-based 3D modeling software markets. In particular, many domestic local governments and public institutions are promoting smart city infrastructure management and public service optimization using digital twins. Based on its proven experience in building digital twins across various industries such as smart cities, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems), BEMS (Building Energy Management Systems), disaster management, energy, and chemical sectors, E8 plans to target the B2G market.
The domestic public procurement market is rapidly growing. In 2023, it is expected to reach approximately KRW 210 trillion (about USD 150 billion), a 30% increase compared to 2019. This market accounts for 9.3% of the nominal GDP (KRW 2,236 trillion), marking the highest ratio ever recorded. Through its partnership with GeomexSoft, a market leader in public procurement, E8 aims to accelerate efforts to achieve annual sales exceeding KRW 10 billion in the B2G market.
GeomexSoft possesses GIS engine-based technology for building spatial information systems, intelligent video analysis systems, and smart disaster situation integrated monitoring solutions, enabling integrated management by disaster type and establishing a systematic disaster prevention and response system. The company is expanding its sales in the B2G market.
Through this partnership, both companies plan to upgrade the digital twin platform solution applicable to the B2G market by combining E8’s simulation-based digital twin technology with GeomexSoft’s GIS technology. Additionally, GeomexSoft will act as a reseller of E8’s solutions, selling products to its diverse B2G client base.
Jinhyun Kim, CEO of E8, stated, “Through collaboration with GeomexSoft, we have not only enhanced our smart city services but also expanded the sales channels for our solutions by leveraging GeomexSoft’s extensive B2G sales network. Moving forward, we will continue to provide our innovative digital twin technology to clients through various partnership agreements and aim to achieve annual B2G market sales exceeding KRW 10 billion.”
