Contract, Payment, and Comprehensive Contract Management Tasks

The Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Seo Geoseok) announced on the 23rd that it will publish the 'Contract Practical Manual' for the first time to alleviate the difficulties of contract officers and distribute it to all educational administrative institutions and public and private schools.

According to the Jeonbuk Office of Education, 16 improvement measures for contract work were prepared earlier this year, and they embarked on creating an easy-to-follow contract practical manual.

The contract practical manual was produced to provide practical support to schools, with the contract team of the Finance Department of the Provincial Office of Education leading the effort since March, along with 13 local government administrative research team members. Despite their busy regular duties, they took time to directly participate in writing and editing tasks.

The contract practical manual consists of four chapters: ▲Chapter 1 General Contracts ▲Chapter 2 Construction Contracts ▲Chapter 3 Goods Contracts ▲Chapter 4 Service Contracts. It includes workflow charts by field, practical cases, related forms, and Q&A, covering the entire contract process from project planning to contract and payment, enabling anyone to easily handle contract tasks by following the manual.

Superintendent Seo Geoseok said, "I hope the contract practical manual will serve as a guide for contract officers and provide practical help in reducing their workload," adding, "We will continue to actively support the officers and do our best to create a fair and transparent contract culture."
