Gyeonggi Uijeongbu City (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 23rd that it will operate a 'Mobile Dog Playground (Pet Festa)' from October 26 to November 8.
On weekends, it will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at △ next to Minrak Little Baseball Stadium (764 Nakyang-dong) on October 26-27 △ next to Ho-won Indoor Tennis Court in Jikdong Neighborhood Park (San 33-6, Ho-won-dong) on November 2-3.
On weekdays, △ the dog playground next to Minrak Little Baseball Stadium will be self-operated unmanned until November 1 △ the dog playground next to Ho-won Indoor Tennis Court in Jikdong Neighborhood Park will be self-operated unmanned until November 8.
This event consists of a 'dog playground' where dogs can run freely without leashes and various 'experience programs' that both pet owners and non-pet owners can enjoy together.
The playground will be equipped with various agility facilities for dogs to run and play, as well as a photo zone. At the experience booths, visitors can enjoy △ making insect repellents △ hygiene grooming △ making leashes △ caricature drawing △ dog temperament tests and behavior correction counseling.
Only dogs that have completed rabies vaccination and animal registration can use the dog playground. For safety, usage times are divided by dog size: small and medium dogs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and large dogs from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Online reservations via QR code are prioritized, but on-site applications are also possible. The experience booths are open to everyone without separate reservations.
A city official said, "We hope everyone creates special memories with their pets during this beautiful autumn," and added, "Based on mutual respect and understanding between pet owners and non-pet owners, we will create a harmonious and happy environment for both people and animals."
