Uijeongbu City Community Security Council Holds 'Beautiful Journey' Event

Over 140 Social Security Officials Attend... Public-Private Cooperation Joint Training

Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu City, is giving a greeting at the Uijeongbu City Community Security Council joint training "Beautiful Companionship" on the 21st.

The Uijeongbu City Community Security Council (Mayor Kim Dong-geun, Private Co-chair Yoon Yeon-hee) announced on the 23rd that it held a public-private cooperation joint training (workshop) titled "Beautiful Companionship" on the 21st at Ansi, Sanjeong Lake, Hanwha Resort, Pocheon.

About 140 participants, including social security agency workers, members of the neighborhood (dong) community security council, and social security officials, attended the event, which was organized to explore the development direction of Uijeongbu City's community security and to strengthen communication and cooperation among the council members.

The attendees began with an outdoor communication program while walking around Sanjeong Lake, followed by a lecture by writer Kang Won-guk on "A Life Where Words and Writing Circulate."

They also had a communication session about Uijeongbu City's welfare brand "Everyone's Care" and participated in "The Miracle of a Cup of Coffee" as part of the "100-Day Love Relay Baton Passing" campaign.

Private Co-chair Yoon Yeon-hee said, "I am grateful that a place was created where the public and private sectors can interact together," adding, "I hope this public-private cooperation joint training (workshop) will be an important foundation for the development and growth of Uijeongbu City's community security."

Mayor Kim Dong-geun expressed his gratitude, saying, "I thank the council members who dedicate themselves to leading the community," and added, "We will actively create opportunities to communicate and cooperate together in the future."
