Pocheon-si to Host '2024 Food Safety Day' Integrated Event

Simultaneous Hosting of Pocheon Agricultural Specialties Grand Festival, Farmers' Day Commemorative Event, and Kaesong Ginseng Festival

Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the 'Food Safety Day' event at the Pocheon City Sports Complex from the 26th to the 27th.

This event was planned to raise citizens' awareness of food safety and to introduce Pocheon's excellent food products.

At the event site, a food safety promotion booth will be set up to provide citizens with correct food management methods and hygiene information. Additionally, participatory experience events will help easily understand the importance of safe food.

Besides this, various foods produced in Pocheon will be exhibited and sold. Visitors can directly experience and purchase trustworthy local food products.

The 'Food Safety Day' event will be held in conjunction with various events such as the Pocheon Agricultural Specialties Festival, the Farmers' Day Commemoration, and the Kaesong Ginseng Festival. Fresh local agricultural products and specialties can be purchased on-site, and a variety of events including cultural performances and experience booths will be prepared for family visitors to enjoy.
