Samcheok City to Hold 'Culture Day' Linked with 'Cultural Heritage Night Tour' on the 25th

Popular Singer Yoon Ddan Ddan and Jamgol Bus Scheduled for Performances

Samcheok City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Park Sang-su) announced on the 23rd that it will hold the ‘Daehak-ro Culture Day’ event at 5 p.m. on the 25th at Samcheok Daehak-ro Cultural Park.

This event is planned to offer citizens various sights and entertainment in connection with the ‘2024 Samcheok Cultural Heritage Night Tour,’ which begins on the 25th around Jukseoru.

In particular, popular singers ‘Yoon Ddan Ddan’ and ‘Jamgol Bus’ will perform passionately in front of citizens and students at this event.

Meanwhile, Samcheok City has been holding the ‘Daehak-ro Culture Day’ event since 2021 in cooperation with local merchants to revitalize the old downtown Daehak-ro area. This event has received great responses from university students, teenagers, and merchants, raising expectations for revitalization effects in Daehak-ro this year as well.

A Samcheok City official said, “We ask for the citizens’ great interest and participation in this event, and we will continue to promote cultural and artistic performances in Daehak-ro to create a lively atmosphere and revitalize local culture and arts.” He added, “We also hope for active participation in the ‘2024 Samcheok Cultural Heritage Night Tour’ to be held nearby at Jukseoru.”
