Advanced Technology Applied: Pro V1 and Pro V1x Unveiled
Focus on Tour Player Feedback, Product Testing, and Analysis
Praised for Perfect Implementation of Distance, Direction, and Spin Performance
Titleist, the world's number one golf ball brand, will launch new products in January next year.
The 2025 models, Pro V1 and Pro V1x, were first unveiled last week at the PGA Tour Shriners Children's Open held in Las Vegas, USA. Titleist players tested the new products not only at PGA Tour events earlier this year but also throughout the year by visiting Titleist’s fitting and testing facilities, the Performance Center and Performance Institute. Hayden Springer, Jack Blair, and Lee Hodges (all from the USA) immediately decided to use the new line.
The new Titleist products are the result of continuous improvement, innovation, and dedication. The golf ball R&D team consists of over 75 researchers including aerodynamicists, chemists, physicists, mathematicians, computer engineers, engineers, and specialists in product testing, analysis, development, and implementation. They collect 20,000 data points daily and 5 million annually, thoroughly reviewing the results to produce the best products.
The Pro V1 series incorporates more than 125 patents. Each model features an optimized dimple pattern. The Pro V1 undergoes over 90 tests, and the Pro V1x passes more than 120 tests before reaching golfers. Next year’s Titleist golf balls are also highly rated for perfectly delivering distance, accuracy, and spin.
