The Pocheon City Council in Gyeonggi Province (Chairman Im Jong-hoon) held the 182nd extraordinary session on the 22nd and embarked on an 11-day legislative schedule until November 1.
This extraordinary session is scheduled to proceed with site inspections of major projects, reports on key achievements for 2024 and major work plans for 2025, as well as handling ordinances and other agenda items.
In particular, the council will visit six major project sites, including the Seondan IC connecting road expansion construction, Pocheon Terminal park development project, and Sanjeong Lake new parking lot construction project, to closely inspect the actual progress of the projects and check for any additional improvements needed. Starting from the 24th, through five sessions, reports on the major achievements of 2024 and key work plans for 2025 will be received from 44 departments including the Audit Officer and investment and contribution institutions to comprehensively review the status of project implementation.
Chairman Im Jong-hoon said in his opening remarks, “This extraordinary session is very important as it serves as a time to review the major achievements of this year’s projects and to deeply examine next year’s key tasks for efficient policy implementation,” adding, “I ask for active interest and cooperation so that the will of the citizens is fully reflected and better policy proposals can be incorporated.”
