Yangju City is creating a "Meeting Room for Everyone" to encourage communication between citizens and employees and to establish an innovative space where creative ideas can flourish. Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it has completed the establishment of the "Everyone's Meeting Room" to encourage communication between citizens and employees and to create an innovative space where creative ideas can flourish.
The core of this project is the contribution to spatial innovation by integrating the existing individual departmental meeting spaces into a meeting space that anyone can use.
The "Everyone's Meeting Room," which lowers the barriers to communication, is designed to provide flexibility in the space, allowing easy access for anyone and fostering a comfortable atmosphere where various departments can freely collaborate and promote open and cooperative work.
Additionally, the existing meeting room operation method, which showed problems such as resource waste due to duplicate placement of space and meeting supplies or occupying more space than necessary despite infrequent meetings, is expected to be greatly improved.
A city official stated, "This meeting room construction project is part of efforts to improve the collaborative environment and increase work efficiency. We will continue to promote an open communication culture through ongoing spatial innovation and create a foundation for mutual growth by generating innovative ideas."
Meanwhile, the "Everyone's Meeting Room" is divided into autonomous and reservation types and is expected to be used as a space where all departments and teams can communicate and collaborate together.
