On the 21st, the YouTube channel 'Seoul Police' uploaded a video titled "Warning: Emotional, Police Officers Running on the Road Rescue 22-Month-Old Baby in Cardiac Arrest." The father, holding the child, quickly boarded the ambulance, while the mother rode in the patrol car heading to the hospital. During the ride, the mother appeared worried about the child, covering her face with both hands and clasping her hands as if praying. Meanwhile, the child went into cardiac arrest, making the situation even more critical.
In response, the police took the lead in providing an emergency escort, with the ambulance following behind. However, the road was completely blocked by a line of vehicles. As the sirens blared to signal the emergency transport, citizens gradually made space and cleared the way. Still, due to the heavy traffic, the transport was delayed.
At that moment, upon hearing a radio message about severe road congestion, two police officers who had been dispatched ran directly onto the road to ask for citizens' cooperation. They loudly shouted, "Emergency patient transport in progress. Please clear the way." Responding to the officers' requests, drivers opened the blocked path, allowing the patrol car and ambulance to safely reach the emergency room. Fortunately, the child who received hospital treatment is now reported to have regained health.
Netizens who heard the story expressed various reactions such as "Thank you for your hard work," "I want to give a round of applause to the dedicated police officers," "I'm a father of a 15-month-old and this brought me to tears," and "This is touching."
