Founded in 2011 by the late Park Seung-il and singer Sean as co-CEOs, the Seungil Hope Foundation is building the first ALS care hospital in South Korea to support ALS patients. The hospital is scheduled to be completed in December. Park, who passed away in September this year, previously worked as a coach for the Kia Motors basketball team and the Hyundai Mobis basketball team. To honor him, a donation ceremony was held at the Mobis basketball team gymnasium in Yongin. Hyundai Motor Group has decided to conduct online and offline fundraising campaigns targeting its employees to raise awareness of ALS and support the hospital's construction.
