Gyeonggido Content Agency to Host 'Gyeonggi SW Future Filling Festival' on the 26th

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will hold the ‘2024 Gyeonggi SW Future Filling Festival’ on the 26th.

Hosted by Gyeonggi-do and the Ministry of Science and ICT, and organized by the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, this festival will take place at Gwanggyo Hall on the 1st floor of Gwanggyo Technovalley and the Future Filling Center under the theme “New Opportunities Provided by AI, Opening the Future of Innovation.”

This festival is designed to provide software (SW) and artificial intelligence (AI) experience programs to students in the province to stimulate interest and improve their utilization skills.

The venue is divided into a learning center where visitors can directly experience various advanced technologies such as robots, autonomous vehicles, AI writing, and family coding; an experience center showcasing the latest AI and SW education trends from edutech companies; and a promotional center introducing the ‘SW Future Filling’ project along with new career information in the AI era.

Additionally, famous profiler Director Pyo Chang-won will hold a talk concert titled “The Expansion of AI! Catch the Criminal,” and around the venue, various experience programs such as a digital magic show, AI quiz show, photo zone, SNS promotional certification event, AI photo studio, and generative AI music production will be operated.

Kang Sung-cheon, Director of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, said, “This festival will provide young people with opportunities to see the practical use of SW and AI technologies and explore future possibilities,” adding, “Family coding activities will also help reduce the digital gap between generations.”
