- Seohae Line Double-Track Subway... Opening in Early November Within Sight, GTX A and C Lines Confirmed in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do Area
- Dongmoon Construction’s ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Dongmoon The East’ with High Accessibility to Anjung Station and Numerous Financial Benefits
In the real estate market, apartments located in areas with good transportation conditions always attract attention as 'steady sellers' and continue to enjoy high popularity. Convenient transportation shortens commuting times and allows residents to enjoy various commercial facilities around stations, thereby improving quality of life and increasing satisfaction. In particular, these advantages naturally lead to rising housing prices, with premium increases becoming more significant as accessibility to Seoul improves.
As transportation conditions receive high interest in location selection, the Pyeongtaek area in Gyeonggi-do, where major railway transportation developments such as the Seohae Line double-track railway and the Pyeongtaek Line are planned, is expected to attract the attention of both demanders and investors.
In fact, the Pyeongtaek area in Gyeonggi-do is buzzing with real estate activity as the Seohae Line double-track railway and the Pyeongtaek Line are scheduled to open in early November.
First, the Seohae Line double-track railway is a route connecting about 90 km between Hongseong in Chungnam and Songsan in Hwaseong. Upon opening, it is expected to further solidify its position as a transportation hub in the western metropolitan area by linking with lines such as the Janghang Line, Sinansan Line, and Gyeongui Line. Additionally, the Pyeongtaek Line, which connects 22.8 km from Pyeongtaek to Anjung, is also scheduled to open simultaneously with the Seohae Line double-track railway, significantly reducing travel time between eastern and western Pyeongtaek. Expectations are rising due to improved travel convenience. Especially in 2030, when the Gyeongbu High-Speed Railway line will be directly connected to the Seohae Line, the transportation premium is expected to be maximized.
As the opening of the Seohae Line double-track railway approaches, interest in Pyeongtaek City, through which the line passes, is also increasing. The Anjung Station (planned), connected by the Seohae Line double-track railway, is located close to the Pyeongtaek Hwayang District and is expected to directly benefit from this. In particular, expectations for the Hwayang District, known as the transportation center of West Pyeongtaek, are growing. The future opening of Anjung-daero (planned), which will directly connect the Hwayang District to Anjung Station (planned), will further enhance travel convenience. Moreover, Anjung Station (planned) is regarded as a key station on the line, as a direct connection project with the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line is also planned.
According to the '4th National Railway Network Construction Plan' announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the Seohae Line and Gyeongbu High-Speed Line will be directly connected, enabling travel from Anjung Station to Gwangmyeong Station, Yongsan Station, and Seoul Station in about 40 minutes by KTX by 2030.
A real estate expert stated, “It is a natural trend that demanders want to purchase homes in places with convenient transportation conditions and high future value due to transportation developments.” He added, “Especially in Pyeongtaek, with the upcoming opening of the Seohae Line double-track railway and the Pyeongtaek Line, as well as future high-value lines such as GTX A and C lines, interest is growing even more.”
For these reasons, Dongmoon Construction’s ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Dongmoon The East,’ which offers various transportation benefits in the Pyeongtaek Hwayang District, continues to attract demanders’ attention.
Dongmoon Construction’s ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Dongmoon The East’ is being built in Block 6-2 of the Hwayang District in Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do. It consists of 8 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 29 floors above ground, with a total of 753 households. The complex includes 84 households with exclusive areas ranging from 84 to 107 square meters.
The complex is located near Anjung-daero (planned), which allows quick access to Anjung Station (planned for KTX direct connection), making it convenient to use the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line and the Seohae Line double-track railway scheduled to open this November. It is also situated near National Road 38, connected to the Seohaean Expressway, facilitating easy travel around the area. Access to the Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway is also smooth, enabling fast travel to Chungbuk and Gangwon regions.
Dongmoon Construction’s exceptional contract conditions to reduce financial burdens on demanders also draw attention. ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Dongmoon The East’ requires only 5 million KRW upfront, with no additional costs until move-in, and offers a full 60% interest-free benefit on interim payments, making fund management during the sales process relatively easy. Furthermore, unlimited resale is allowed after November 26 of this year.
The housing exhibition hall for Dongmoon Construction’s ‘Pyeongtaek Hwayang Dongmoon The East’ is located in Hakhyun-ri, Anjung-eup, Pyeongtaek-si, Gyeonggi-do, and is currently conducting sales on a first-come, first-served basis, allowing immediate contract for remaining units.
