Kang Hye-kyung, who reported suspicions of Kim Geon-hee's interference in candidate nominations, claimed on the 21st, "Kim said she wanted to provide money, so I sent a quotation for (polling costs) to CEO Myung Tae-gyun, but (CEO Myung) did not bring any money and instead secured the nomination for Assemblywoman Kim Young-sun. On the same day, Kang appeared as a witness at the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee's audit of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office and said, "During the last presidential election, the Mirae Korea Research Institute conducted 81 opinion polls, including public polls and internal surveys."

Kang is the person who raised suspicions that during the last presidential election, Myung provided 'illegal opinion polls' to President Yoon Seok-yeol in exchange for the nomination of Kim Young-sun, a former member of the People Power Party, in the June 2022 by-election, alleging Kim Geon-hee's involvement in the nomination process.

She was the accounting manager and aide to former Assemblywoman Kim and also worked at the polling firm Mirae Korea Research Institute, which is known to have been operated by Myung.

Kang, who identified herself as a responsible member of the People Power Party, said, "Former Assemblywoman Kim Young-sun, CEO Myung Tae-gyun, and these people should never step into politics, and since everything they say is a lie, I came to testify at the audit."

In response to a question from Lee Sung-yoon, a member of the Democratic Party of Korea, asking, "It is said that Myung Tae-gyun boasted about his friendship with Kim Geon-hee and often referred to her as a blind warrior and a crippled shaman. Have you heard about this?" Kang replied, "President Yoon is blind but wields a sword well, so he was called a blind warrior," adding, "Kim Geon-hee is a shaman who should not go outside, and Myung told Kim to climb onto the blind man's shoulder and cast spells, meaning that Kim should use spiritual power through President Yoon."

She further claimed, "CEO Myung said he communicates spiritually with Kim Geon-hee a lot."

Kang also claimed in response to a question about whether the resignation of Lee Dong-hoon, former Chosun Ilbo editorial writer and spokesperson during June 2021 when President Yoon was a leading People Power Party presidential candidate, after just ten days was because Myung told Kim that their energies conflicted, "I heard that from CEO Myung. He said the two would clash a lot and that (Kim) made him resign immediately."

When asked by Jeong Cheong-rae, chairman of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, whether she had ever heard CEO Myung play a phone call with Kim Geon-hee on speakerphone or listened together, Kang said, "Yes. One of them was 'Oppa, did you get the call? It will go well.'" When asked who "that oppa" referred to, she answered, "I think it refers to President Yoon."
