Korea Metal Pledges 100 Million Won for Neighbor Aid... Gyeongju City’s 2nd Sharing Honor Company

The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Woo-heon) announced that on the 18th, a signing ceremony for the 17th Nanum Myungmun Company was held at Korea Metal Co., Ltd. in Gyeongju.


At the signing ceremony, Lee Jung-woo, Chairman of Korea Metal Co., Ltd., Son Byung-il, Secretary General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest, and other officials attended. Korea Metal Co., Ltd. has continuously shown interest in social issues and made various donations, including donating 1 billion KRW over more than 20 years in the Gyeongbuk, Chungnam, and Ulsan regions.

Chairman Lee Jung-woo, who decided to join Nanum Myungmun, has also been practicing steady sharing since joining the Honor Society, a high-donor group of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest, in 2015.


Nanum Myungmun Company is a sharing brand for companies that have donated more than 100 million KRW or have pledged donations within three years. With this signing ceremony, Korea Metal Co., Ltd. became the 3rd Nanum Myungmun Company in 2024 and the 2nd in Gyeongju City, promising continuous interest and sharing in the local community.


Son Byung-il, Secretary General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest, said, “Thank you for joining the Nanum Myungmun Companies leading the culture of sharing in Gyeongbuk,” and added, “We will strive to encourage more companies like Korea Metal, which have long practiced sharing for the local community, to participate.”
