Introduction to 'Jwosseumyeon Geumaniji' about Teacher Kim Jangha
No separate message regarding daughter's drunk driving, etc.
Former President Moon Jae-in resumed his social media (SNS) activities on the 21st by introducing a book. However, he did not make any separate remarks regarding his daughter Dahye, who is under police investigation for drunk driving.
On that day, through SNS, former President Moon introduced the book "Jwosseumyeon Geumaniji" about Kim Jang-ha, who ran a herbal medicine shop and shared the profits with the local community through scholarship projects and other means. He said, "Kim Jang-ha could not attend high school due to poverty and started working as a clerk at a herbal medicine shop at a young age. After self-study, he passed the herbal medicine pharmacist exam at the age of 18. For 60 years, he operated the herbal medicine shop and shared most of his income with the local community as needed." He added, "Just discovering that such an elder exists in the community in this era through this book will bring great comfort."
Former President Moon introduced Kim’s character, who lived for the local community without even seeking praise for his good deeds, and his life of filling his knowledge through reading despite only graduating from middle school.
He had stopped his SNS activities after posting about Geummokseo, known as Manrihyang, on the 2nd. Silence continued after it became known on the night of the 4th that Moon Dahye had committed drunk driving.
Dahye was investigated for drunk driving at Yongsan Police Station on the 18th.
