Uijeongbu City Holds Outdoor Classes at Uijeongbu Baby Boomer Happiness Campus Uijeongbu City conducted an outdoor class on the 19th for students of the 'Uijeongbu Baby Boomer Happiness Campus' at Edelweiss Swiss Theme Park located in Gapyeong.

Uijeongbu City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Dong-geun) announced on the 21st that it conducted outdoor classes twice, on the 12th and 19th, at Edelweiss Swiss Theme Park located in Gapyeong for the students of the 'Uijeongbu Baby Boomer Happiness Campus.'


About 200 participants enrolled in programs such as practical brunch menu, picture book play counselor, barista, and real estate investment analyst took part in this outdoor class, which was organized to promote camaraderie among students and motivate them regarding the educational courses.


The students said, "We were able to grow closer and spend happy times through forest walking and experiencing traditional Swiss cuisine," and added, "We are grateful to the Uijeongbu Baby Boomer Happiness Campus and will continue to attend diligently."


Center Director Kim Chang-yeol stated, "We will continue to implement such programs to boost the motivation of the baby boomer generation."


The Uijeongbu Baby Boomer Happiness Campus is a project that provides customized welfare services such as counseling, education, employment and entrepreneurship support, and social contribution activities for the baby boomer generation (born 1955?1974) during their life transition in the latter half of life. It has been operated at Kyungmin University Happiness Campus since 2022.
