According to the legal community on the 21st, Jipyung will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the prestigious Hungarian law firm Oppenheim at its Seoul headquarters on the 29th and hold an opening ceremony for the Hungary office. Jipyung has the most overseas offices among Korean law firms. This Hungary office will be its ninth overseas office.

A Jipyung official stated, "Central and Eastern Europe is a strategic market for our companies in the long term," adding, "To respond more quickly and efficiently to clients' needs, we have decided to dispatch and station two partner-level Korean experts locally."

The decision to open an office in Hungary was made because the number of Korean companies entering the Eastern European market, including Hungary, is rapidly increasing.

Domestic companies such as Samsung and SK are making massive investments to develop Hungary as a key production hub in Europe. Additionally, with projects such as the Czech nuclear power plant contract, the role of Korean companies in Eastern Europe continues to expand.
