Members of the group NewJeans shared behind-the-scenes stories about Hani's attendance at the National Assembly audit. Minji and Hani held a live broadcast on NewJeans' official fan communication platform, PONING, on the 18th. During the broadcast, Minji said, "Because of my schedule, I only saw the scene where Hani was speaking at the National Assembly at first," and added, "After my schedule ended, I looked it up and found 100 photos of Hani crying." In response, Hani laughed and said, "Who took those photos of me crying?" and "They talked with me briefly." Minji also said about Hani's attendance at the audit, "In my heart, I shouted, 'That's my girl.'"

Another member, Danielle, also shared on the 17th, "After Hani finished attending the audit, she came back to the dorm crying, and I ran to hug her." Danielle said, "I told Hani a lot, but she really worked hard. I watched the live broadcast of the audit from start to finish, and I was so nervous," and added, "Thank you so much to the Bunnies (NewJeans fandom) who went to cheer on site. Thanks to Bunnies, Hani must have gained more strength," and "I hope people feel a lot when they see Hani attending the audit."

Hani appeared as a witness at the National Assembly Environment and Labor Committee audit held on the 15th. This was the first case of an active idol group member attending a national audit, and on that day, Hani testified about workplace harassment issues at her company (HYBE). Kim Jooyoung, CEO of ADOR, NewJeans' agency, also appeared as a witness at the scene.

Hani stated, "After hair and makeup were done, I was waiting in the hallway when about three other team members and a female manager passed by, so I greeted them politely," and "Five or ten minutes later, they came back. That manager made eye contact with me and told the members following behind, 'Ignore her and pretend you didn’t see her,'” she claimed.

At the audit, Hani mentioned that Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and others had not greeted her, saying, "I don’t understand why I have to go through this," and "This was not the first time." She continued, "I came out because I knew that if I didn’t speak here, it would quietly pass and be buried again. I hope seniors, juniors, peers, and trainees don’t have to go through this," and tearfully said, "Those who should be sorry should come forward confidently, but it’s frustrating that they avoid such occasions."

In response, CEO Kim Jooyoung said, "Unfortunately, based on our current internal investigation, the claims are conflicting," and added, "I believe Hani’s words and claims, and I am trying to find evidence out of frustration, but unfortunately, we have not yet secured any."
