Pre-release Track "I'll Be There" on the 25th
Group BTS member Jin transforms into an office worker, showcasing a new charm.
On the 20th at midnight (KST), Jin released photos and videos of the second concept, ‘Imagine’ version, of his solo album ‘Happy’ on the team’s official SNS.
While the first concept, ‘Journey,’ dealt with the small happiness found in hobbies, this time he completely changed the atmosphere by portraying an office worker. Jin sits at his desk like an ordinary employee, working, and enjoys small daily escapes by playfully throwing documents with a mischievous expression.
The speakers and guitar placed throughout the office space in the background secretly reveal Jin’s true identity as a ‘singer.’
The concept film begins with the sound of keyboard typing. Cassette tapes and sheet music among the office supplies create a unique atmosphere.
In the video, Jin wears headphones and focuses on his work while moving to the rhythm. After finishing his tasks, he smiles with a refreshed expression. His smile makes viewers happy as well.
Through this concept, Jin wanted to express the fun that can be found in work. He believes that knowing the value of that fun is what makes happiness possible.
‘Happy,’ set to be released on the 15th of next month at 2 p.m., is an album carrying the message of sharing the journey to find happiness together. According to the agency, it contains Jin’s honest thoughts on happiness and his feelings toward ARMY (BTS’s fandom name) in six songs based on band sounds.
Jin will reveal the final concept of the new album on the 22nd. On the 25th at 1 p.m., he will release the pre-release track ‘I’ll Be There’ to heighten the comeback excitement.
‘I’ll Be There’ is a song that conveys happiness and offers strength when feeling tired and alone, reflecting Jin’s sincere feelings. American singer-songwriter MAX participated in the song’s production.
