Both Men and Women Choose Clothing and Facial Expressions as Top 1 and 2
Remarriage Outfit Tips: Practicality for Men, Boldness for Women
Divorced singles hoping to remarry were found to place great importance on their partner's attire and facial expressions during matchmaking meetings.
On the 19th, OnlyU, a remarriage-specialized matchmaking company, announced the results of a survey on "What factors most influence the formation of a first impression of a partner during autumn remarriage matchmaking?"
In response to this question, both men and women ranked "attire (men 30.5%, women 34.2%)" and "facial expression (men 26.1%, women 30.1%)" as the top first and second factors, respectively.
For the third place and below, men chose "makeup (21.9%)" and "accessories (14.1%)," while women selected "hair condition (25.2%)" and "makeup (7.1%)."
When asked, "What do you focus on when choosing attire for autumn remarriage matchmaking?" 29.0% of men answered "practicality." This was followed by "atmosphere (24.2%)," "elegance (20.8%)," and "trendiness (18.6%)."
In contrast, the highest percentage of women (31.6%) answered "boldness" to the same question. This was followed by "elegance (25.7%)," "atmosphere (20.5%)," and "practicality (15.5%)."
Regarding the survey results, an expert explained, "Men often wear the clothes they use in their social life rather than purchasing special attire for matchmaking. In the past, women typically wore standardized outfits such as dresses or two-piece sets for matchmaking, but nowadays, they coordinate their attire considering personal taste and trends without being bound by formalities."
Meanwhile, earlier in September, OnlyU and the matchmaking company Bienarae conducted a survey asking, "What aspect of a partner's appearance is most disappointing when meeting a remarriage candidate?" Men ranked "wrinkles" first at 30.2%, while women ranked "obesity" first at 33.3%.
In response to the question, "How do you think a partner's outstanding appearance would affect married life?" both men and women most frequently answered "frequent couple outings" (men 32.6%, women 31.4%). Next, men chose "increased self-esteem" (26.7%) and "long-lasting affection" (22.5%) in order.
