Dongguk University announced on the 19th that the Dongguk University Alumni Association has relocated and opened the Chungmuro Video Center.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 120 alumni, including Dongguk University President Yoon Jae-woong, Dongguk University Foundation Chairman Monk Don-gwan, and Alumni Association President Moon Seon-bae.
The Dongguk University Chungmuro Video Center is an 11-story building above ground with 2 basement levels, currently housing the Video Center, the Buddhist Academic Institute offices, and offices for industry-academia cooperation companies.
President Yoon said, "The relocation of the Alumni Association is the fulfillment of a long-cherished wish," and described the day as "a symbolic moment of taking a step forward hand in hand together."
Monk Don-gwan stated, "The relocation of the Alumni Hall embraces the past 120 years of Dongguk University's history and marks a significant step toward creating a new 100-year history," adding, "At the Alumni Hall relocated to Chungmuro, we will freely communicate and coexist with the 350,000 alumni who have shared Dongguk University's history, and the school and alumni association will work hard together with one great purpose for Dongguk."
