GH to Conduct 'Work Competency Training' for Public Architecture Officials on the 18th

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held the '2024 Gyeonggi-do Public Architecture Officials Training' on the 18th at the main auditorium of its headquarters in Gwanggyo, Suwon, for over 160 public architecture officials from Gyeonggi Provincial Government, 31 cities and counties, and local public enterprises within the province.

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) held the "2024 Gyeonggi-do Public Architecture Officials Training" on the 18th at the main auditorium of its headquarters in Gwanggyo, Suwon, targeting over 160 public architecture officials from Gyeonggi Provincial Government, 31 cities and counties, and local public enterprises within the province.

The training was organized by the "Gyeonggi-do Public Construction Support Center," which GH operates under commission from Gyeonggi Province, and focused on ▲Understanding public construction and architecture policies and systems ▲Sharing exemplary cases of public architecture ▲Understanding the design competition system ▲Understanding the preliminary review system for project plans.

A GH official stated, "This training was prepared to enhance the work capabilities of public institution officials who are starting public construction and architecture projects for the first time, to secure the public nature of public architecture, and to help broaden understanding of the architectural environment."

Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi-do Public Construction Support Center was established in December 2019 under the "Gyeonggi-do Public Construction Service Support Ordinance" and plays a role in preliminary review and consultation on public construction and architecture project plans to ensure reasonable budget planning, design, and quality assurance.
