The Buchae-pyo Gasong Foundation was established in April 2008 through the private donations of Honorary Chairman Yoon Kwang-yeol of Dongwha Pharm and his wife Kim Soon-nyeo, based on the philosophy that 'corporate profits should be returned to society.' In addition to the Yoon Kwang-yeol Pharmaceutical Award and Pharmaceutical Merit Award, the foundation has established the Yoon Kwang-yeol Medical Award, Medical Contribution Award, and Yoon Kwang-yeol Dental Medical Volunteer Award to support academic research projects. It also selects university students who excel academically but face financial difficulties and provides scholarships to support their education.
