Daegu Urban Development Corporation (President Jeong Myeong-seop) announced that it will participate in the ‘2nd Youth and Companies HandJOB Daegu Dandi JOB Festival’ held for two days on the 21st and 22nd at the iM Bank 2nd Main Branch.
This event is a job fair where local companies and local youth come together, hosted and co-organized by the Daegu Citizen Foundation, Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, with sponsorship from DGB Financial Group. In addition, seven local public institutions and public enterprises, including Daegu Urban Development Corporation, participate as joint sponsors, and more than 50 local small and medium-sized enterprises, public institutions, and social welfare organizations have joined forces to create a platform connecting excellent local companies and youth.
Daegu Urban Development Corporation is participating in this job fair to contribute to preventing regional extinction and revitalizing the local economy by providing employment information to local youth, and plans to offer job introductions and recruitment information to young people visiting the booth.
Besides participating in the job fair, the corporation is making efforts to nurture local talent and create jobs within the region through continuous youth experiential internship recruitment and signing industry-academia cooperation agreements with local universities.
Jeong Myeong-seop, President of Daegu Urban Development Corporation, stated, “I hope that local youth will obtain quality recruitment information and realize their dreams and hopes through this job fair,” and added, “We will continue to participate in various fairs that support and communicate with youth to encourage them.”
