TJ Media Supplies 'M2' to Over 100 Smart Senior Centers in Gwangmyeong City

Karaoke accompaniment device company TJ Media announced on the 18th that its leisure healthcare product, the ‘Smart Health Music System M2 (hereafter M2),’ has met the proposal requirements for the ‘Smart Senior Center Construction Project’ in Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, and has been designated as a supply item.

The Smart Senior Center Construction Project is a program that utilizes information and communication technology (ICT) to transform existing senior centers into spaces for entertainment and education, supporting smart exercise equipment and health management education programs for the healthy elderly life of seniors. Following the installation of M2 in smart senior centers in Dongdaemun-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Yangcheon-gu, Songpa-gu, and Dongjak-gu in Seoul last year, this year it will be installed in all senior centers within Gwangmyeong-si.

According to KJ Innovation, the general distributor of TJ Media’s M2, it has been installed in about 70 senior centers in Gwangmyeong-si so far. An additional 30 locations will be installed in October, bringing the total to over 100 senior centers.

The M2 is a karaoke device equipped with the largest domestic library of about 60,000 accompaniment tracks, combined with ‘Health Dance,’ ‘Cognitive Enhancement Training Games,’ and ‘Brain Health Exercises.’ It is a senior-customized program with a system that transmits exercise data through features like ‘Health Dance’ to a health management integrated platform server for monitoring. It has received high satisfaction from seniors and is gaining attention as an item that allows them to enjoy both fun and health during their later years.

A TJ Media official said, "Following the installation in Gwangmyeong-si senior centers and the explosive response from seniors, inquiries about purchasing the M2 have been coming in from various senior care institutions as well as local governments nationwide conducting smart senior center projects." They added, "Among smart senior center systems, the M2 is by far the most popular and, due to its excellent health management effects, requests for installation from government offices and welfare centers are rapidly increasing, so it is expected to be installed in even more locations going forward."

TJ Media’s M2 has received love calls from local governments for two consecutive years, and as its distribution continues to expand to senior centers nationwide, it is expected to establish itself as the standard system for senior leisure and health in the music field.
