Daegu City will operate the "Good Job Bus," a visiting employment counseling service, on the 21st from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Siji Nuri Park for women who have experienced career interruptions or are unemployed and seeking jobs.
This event is organized by the Suseong Women's New Employment Center, with 12 companies participating to hire 15 women.
The hiring process will be divided into direct hiring, where candidates are hired immediately after on-site interviews (2 companies, 3 people), and indirect hiring, where job seekers are recommended to companies (10 companies, 12 people). The recruitment positions include social workers, public relations clerks, facility care workers, kitchen assistants, cooks, nutritionists, accounting clerks, and delivery packers.
The two companies conducting on-site interviews are Jinmyeong Happy Care Co., Ltd. Siji Branch and Hyona Num Home Welfare Center. The ten companies involved in indirect hiring are Joeun Home Welfare Center, Meotjin Insaeng FNB Co., Ltd., Sambo Nursing Home, Mirae Hospital, Yeolgyung Nursing Home, National Public Suseong Beomeo W Daycare Center, Human Hub Co., Ltd., Kim Shin Nursing Hospital, The Better Hospital of Haejeong Medical Foundation, and KB Road Co., Ltd.
Additionally, various free employment support services will be provided, including one-on-one customized employment counseling considering individual career history, age, and career interruption period, job vacancy and job seeker information, and guidance on vocational education and training courses.
Notably, this event will be held near Exit 6 of Sinmae Station on Daegu Metro Line 1 at Siji Nuri Park. It will feature diverse attractions such as promotion of the National Employment Support System by the Daegu Employment Welfare Plus Center and the Suseong Women's Art Market, where local women sell handmade crafts. Participants on the day will also receive caf? beverages and souvenirs during job counseling sessions.
If visiting on-site on the day is difficult, inquiries can be made to the Suseong Women's New Employment Center to receive customized job counseling and employment linkage considering career, age, and desired job type, as well as post-employment follow-up services.
