Miso Information Technology, a multimodal data platform specialist company (CEO Andongwook), announced on the 18th that it will participate in the "2024 Korea Police World Expo" to be held from the 23rd to the 26th at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, together with Seoul Asan Medical Center and Yonsei University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation.
This exhibition is the only global police industry exhibition in Korea that fosters the police industry by introducing excellent police-related products and technologies from frontline police officers' health management to companies, linking them to exports, and effectively responding to changes in the policing environment such as the development of artificial intelligence technology.
Miso Information Technology will exhibit the development of a personalized cardiovascular disease prevention and occurrence prediction system for individual police officers, in collaboration with the clinical big data analysis platform, seven cardiovascular centers including Seoul Asan Medical Center, and Yonsei University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation (Yonsei University Department of Preventive Medicine, Yonsei Medical Center, etc.).
The National Police Agency plans to operate an integrated platform managing the entire life cycle health of police officers as early as 2027 to prevent sudden cardiac deaths of frontline police officers. Through this, the National Police Agency aims to systematically manage the disease risk of police officers, whose risk of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular diseases is more than twice as high as other occupations due to their shift work environment.
An official from the National Police Agency's Science and Technology Cooperation Development Division said, "Police officers are exposed to various diseases due to the nature of their duties and work environment," adding, "If the results of this project are established on site, they are expected to be used as a basis for policy decisions to develop job guidelines to improve the work environment and to support police health and medical care."
