Pocheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Young-hyun) announced on the 17th that it held a "My Farm Brand Presentation" on the 16th at the Pocheon Agricultural Technology Center as part of the Environmental Agriculture Graduate School curriculum.
The "Design and Marketing for Small Farms That Sell Well" course is one of the Environmental Agriculture Graduate School's programs, designed to help students develop their own farm brands.
Through the education, participants were able to understand trends in agricultural food consumption and learn imaging strategies to develop their unique farm brands.
Additionally, guidance was provided to expand farmers' sales channels and establish a self-sales foundation through the development of trend-appropriate designs and promotional materials.
The presentation served as an opportunity for graduate students to showcase the farm brands and agricultural visions they developed through the curriculum, aiming to boost farmers' pride and enhance the value of farm brands.
Eighteen graduate students presented their own farm brands and visions. The presentations were evaluated by four judges, including Jeong Young-won, head of the Pocheon Agricultural Technology Center. As a result, three outstanding graduates will be awarded at the upcoming graduation ceremony.
One graduate student who participated in the presentation said, "Developing and presenting my farm brand through this education was a great opportunity to concretize my own agricultural vision," adding, "I will strive to achieve better results based on this experience."
Mayor Baek Young-hyun of Pocheon City stated, "I hope this presentation becomes an important process in preparing for the future of agriculture, and I look forward to seeing your brands practically applied in the agricultural field."
