Kakao VX is holding an event to increase the hole-in-one prize money.

Kakao Golf Reservation membership members receive the prize according to their subscription rounds when they book a tee time at a golf course or play as a companion. Users who make a hole-in-one and have maintained their membership for less than one year (1 to 12 rounds) receive 1 million KRW, those with membership between one and two years (13 to 24 rounds) receive 2 million KRW, and those with membership of two years or more (25 rounds or more) receive a congratulatory prize of 3 million KRW.

The field hole-in-one congratulatory prize can be applied for once a month. To apply, upload an ID along with the hole-in-one certificate certified by the golf course and the scorecard on the detailed page for the field hole-in-one congratulatory prize. Detailed information about the application is available on the Kakao Golf Reservation platform.

Kakao VX stated, "Due to many inquiries from membership users regarding the hole-in-one congratulatory prize, we have increased the amount from 1 million KRW to up to 3 million KRW depending on the subscription rounds," adding, "We hope to provide golf enthusiasts with a fresh motivation through the hole-in-one."

The Kakao Golf Reservation platform, launched by Kakao VX in 2019, was selected as one of Google Play’s Top 10 Popular Apps of 2020. In April 2021, it became the first in the industry to open a subscription function, and added a self-check-in feature to simplify the round process and enhance convenience for golf course users. In August 2023, it launched a membership service offering various benefits including unlimited subscriptions and field hole-in-one rewards.
