Lee Yong-beom, a special civil complaint investigator from the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, who was invited as the instructor, delivered a three-hour lecture covering types and causes of conflicts, practical conflict resolution methods, and the public service mindset toward conflicts.
Before the training, Mayor Lee Dong-hwan stated, "For public officials, empathy and communication with complainants, a proactive attitude, and prompt resolution of complaints are of utmost importance," adding, "We will respond strictly and firmly to malicious complaints to protect the human rights of our employees."
Park Sang-hee, Head of the Communication and Cooperation Division, said, "As the importance of managing public conflicts increases, there is a growing call to strengthen employee capabilities," and added, "We plan to continue conducting various training programs through collaboration with institutions such as the Office for Government Policy Coordination and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission."
