CJ OliveNetworks Completes Smart Factory Construction at HiteJinro Vietnam Plant

CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 17th that it has secured the contract for the construction of HiteJinro's first overseas production plant, a smart factory in Vietnam.

Marking its 100th anniversary this year, HiteJinro is building its first overseas production plant in Vietnam to secure export volumes following its external expansion. The Vietnam plant, scheduled for completion in 2026, aims for an initial production capacity of over 1 million cases annually and is expected to serve as a strategic hub for the Southeast Asian market.

This contract with HiteJinro is CJ OliveNetworks' first external smart factory project overseas. The company also emphasized the significance of performing ECP (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for the project.

For the Vietnam plant construction, CJ OliveNetworks will be responsible for designing customized automation equipment and systems reflecting the characteristics of liquor production, building an integrated management system, and providing maintenance services. Additionally, they plan to enhance productivity and safety by ▲optimizing core process design ▲establishing a flexible production system and quality uniformity ▲building a data integration environment ▲setting up a production safety system, thereby implementing an efficient smart factory optimized for local conditions in Vietnam.

To ensure the successful construction of the smart factory, CJ OliveNetworks will form 'Team CJ' to carry out the project. Leveraging diverse internal and external smart factory construction experiences, the team will provide consulting and operational guidance for factory management and support more optimized logistics operation strategies through their logistics system construction capabilities.

CJ OliveNetworks plans to strengthen its partnership with HiteJinro by participating in the construction of new plants through ongoing collaboration.

Yoo In-sang, CEO of CJ OliveNetworks, stated, "Based on differentiated digital transformation (DX) technology, we will actively support the stable and efficient construction and operation of the factory."
