'Rest and Stay Like a King'... Namyangju-si Wangsukcheon Cultural Festival to be Held on the 19th

The ‘Wangsukcheon Cultural Festival,’ Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province’s representative autumn cultural festival, will be held on the 19th around Dasan-dong Donong Sports Park.

According to Namyangju City on the 16th, the 11th annual ‘Wangsukcheon Cultural Festival’ is hosted by the Dasan 1-dong Residents’ Autonomy Association (Chairman Lee Jin-ho) and promoted with support from △Dasan Administrative Welfare Center △Seobu Hope Care △Dasan 1-dong Social Organizations Council and Neighborhood Association Council △Dasan Saemaeul Geumgo △Hyundai Premium Outlet (Space One branch) △Binggrae, and other local community sponsors.

This event will feature the ‘Royal Procession’ performance recalling the origin of Wangsukcheon, along with various traditional games and activities that all generations can enjoy, such as walking the Wish Road, rice cake making experience, invited singer and club performances, art exhibitions, and a flea market.

In particular, the Residents’ Autonomy Association will operate an experience booth where participants can make the Wish Road using hanji (traditional Korean paper), allowing visitors to walk the Wish Road happily while making wishes. Additionally, an Air Sofa Zone will be set up, providing citizens with purple air sofas where they can rest like royalty.
