A&Poly Co., Ltd. is a startup founded in a POSTECH laboratory that manufactures eco-friendly advanced new materials. It has been recognized for its technology to produce eco-friendly nanocellulose (fiber) materials from biomass such as rice and chestnut husks, seaweed, and coffee grounds, successfully attracting 19 billion KRW in investment and rapidly growing.

A&Poly Co., Ltd. is a representative success case of the ‘Venture Business Lifecycle Customized Support’ promoted by Gyeongbuk Province. Yang Geum-hee, Deputy Governor for Economy of Gyeongbuk Province, said, “We will strive to activate the startup innovation investment ecosystem so that anyone with innovative technology can focus on startup and research and development by achieving the early goal of raising 10 trillion KRW for the G-star Fund, a venture investment fund invested by Gyeongbuk Province.”
