The Gwangyang Art Market is an event that utilizes cafes and complex cultural spaces as exhibition venues to display artists' works.

It was first held last year to create a new ecosystem for art distribution, and this year, 43 artists from Gwangyang, Suncheon, Sacheon, and Gwangju will showcase over 170 works.

Artists from India, Spain, Slovenia, and other countries are also participating in this event to resonate with citizens through art, drawing much anticipation.

Visitors to the venue can enjoy not only viewing the artworks but also beverages and goods within the cultural spaces.

Additionally, original artworks can be purchased at affordable prices ranging from a minimum of 100,000 KRW to a maximum of 500,000 KRW, offering citizens a special experience through this event.

A stamp event that adds more fun will also be held. Visitors who tour exhibition spaces such as the Provincial Art Museum and collect stamps will receive free coffee at a cafe within Inseori Park.

Park Si-hoon, Director of the Gwangyang Cultural City Center, said, "The Gwangyang Art Market was prepared to support the healthy artistic activities of local artists and to support various cultural and artistic activities of citizens," adding, "We hope many citizens become the protagonists of this event and enjoy it together."
