Completion of Park Golf Course in Osan Segyo 2 District

Direct Investment by LH at City's Request... 9-Hole Course at Gasudong 1st Neighborhood Park
Mayor Lee Gwon-jae: "We Will Expand Public Welfare Facilities Through Collaboration"

A 9-hole park golf course will open in Segyo 2 District, Osan City, Gyeonggi Province.

Osan City announced on the 16th that it held a completion ceremony for the park golf course built in Gasudong 1 Neighborhood Park within Segyo 2 District on the 15th. The golf course, built on an 8,288㎡ site within the park, features 9 holes along with a management building, restrooms, and a pergola as resting spaces.

This facility is a project directly invested by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) to expand sports infrastructure within Segyo 2 District, based on a proposal from the 8th elected Osan City administration. Until now, Osan City had a temporary course along Osancheon Stream, but the lack of a temporary wall caused conflicts with pedestrians and raised safety concerns.

About 100 people, including Osan Mayor Lee Kwon-jae, Osan City Council Chairman Lee Sang-bok, LH Dongtan Business Headquarters Director Song Young-seok, and citizens, attended the completion ceremony.

Mayor Lee said, "The opening of the park golf course will be a meaningful starting point to broaden citizens' leisure options and promote health," adding, "We will realize necessary projects for improving citizens' welfare through active collaboration with LH."

Meanwhile, prior to this park golf course, LH also established the 'Majungsup Water Playground' in July within the Majungsup Neighborhood Park area of Segyo 2 District.
