Gyeongbuk Development Corporation to Hire 10 Employees: 3 Office Staff and 7 Technical Staff

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation (President Lee Jae-hyuk) will begin recruiting new employees for the second half of 2024 starting on the 17th. Since 2023, the corporation has led "empathetic recruitment" with the motto of "warm and fair hiring," and this year as well, it has prepared measures to meet various demands that may arise from the applicant's perspective.


Since last year, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation has been the first local public enterprise to provide common interview attire to interviewees, and has implemented measures to meet the needs from the applicant's perspective, such as providing applicant strength and weakness analysis reports and conducting recruitment satisfaction surveys. Through this, it has led the spread of a pioneering empathetic recruitment culture by reducing applicants' job preparation costs and enhancing fairness and transparency in the recruitment process.

In addition, to create local jobs and expand socially equitable employment, the corporation has actively participated in recruitment briefings and special lectures in cooperation with local governments, regional universities, and regional labor offices. Notably, in the first half of 2024, it completed special recruitment for persons with disabilities in active collaboration with disability support centers at local universities.


The planned number of new employees to be selected for the second half of 2024 is 3 office positions (1 legal affairs, 1 general, 1 accounting) and 7 technical positions (1 civil engineering, 3 architecture, 2 mechanical, 1 electrical). The exam subjects consist of the NCS basic vocational competency assessment and one major subject, and the exam methods include written tests, personality tests, document screening, and interviews.


Among the eligibility requirements, there is a regional restriction condition that applicants must have their resident registration address in Gyeongsangbuk-do or Daegu City. For technical positions, a professional engineer certificate in each major is required. Common eligibility for both office and technical positions requires meeting the standard scores of English proficiency tests.


Application submission is only possible online through the Gyeongbuk Development Corporation application website, and the application period is from the 17th to the 25th.
