On this day’s meeting, attended by Jeon Yong-gi, Democratic Party member of the National Assembly, Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun, provincial and city council members, and related officials, the city explained that they focused on discussing agenda items related to cultural spaces, sports facilities, and improvements to the living environment within the region.

During the meeting, it was decided to prepare a space within the Small and Medium Business Support Center to pilot programs such as consulting for the 'Semiconductor Retiree-Linked Future Talent Mentoring Support Center,' which provides mentoring services by connecting excellent retired semiconductor personnel with small and medium enterprises.

The agenda for promoting the 'Dongtan Banwol-type Elementary Care Library' was also discussed. This project supports small library childcare reading culture programs in response to the increasing demand for child care. Previously, the city selected 12 locations within the jurisdiction as project sites after conducting a demand survey and plans to implement the project starting next year.

The party and government agreed to review the application for a national subsidy support project to secure smooth project funding for the 'Construction of Hwaseong Eastern Bandabi Sports Center' aimed at improving sports activity conditions for people with disabilities and non-disabled individuals.

In addition, the party and government discussed key living environment improvement agendas such as ▲ remodeling of Dongtan Central Park ▲ creation of barefoot walking trails on the Seonnap Forest Park hiking trail ▲ establishment of the Dongtan Banwol circular bus ▲ revitalization and facility improvement of Jungdong Mubong sports facilities ▲ and park remodeling to activate the Gaenari Park shopping area. Mayor Jeong also requested cooperation from the district committee to secure national funding for the city’s ongoing 'Construction of the Metropolitan Area Safety Experience Education Center' project.

Assemblyman Jeon Yong-gi said, "I will do my best to promptly support the promotion of scattered local issues to contribute to the development of Hwaseong City." Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun also said, "Although financial difficulties are expected in Hwaseong City next year, requiring selection and concentration, we will boldly execute budgets that can revive people’s livelihoods and the economy."
