Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 16th that students from the Department of Aviation Service participated as placard assistants at the opening ceremony of the "105th National Sports Festival."
At the opening ceremony of the "105th National Sports Festival" held on the 11th at Gimhae Sports Complex, 39 students from Shilla University's Department of Aviation Service entered alongside the participating athletes. On that day, the students from the Department of Aviation Service took part as placard assistants, engaging in the meaningful activity of introducing the competing athletes, and the Department of Aviation Service students are expected to continue their role as placard assistants through the closing ceremony.
Ryu Seong-hak, president of the Aviation Service student association who participated as a placard assistant, said, "I am very pleased that such a major event as the National Sports Festival is being held in our region and that I could participate directly," adding, "I want to brighten this event with the posture and manners I learned in class."
Jung Hee-kyung, head of the Department of Aviation Service at Shilla University, stated, "The Department of Aviation Service at Shilla University strives to provide students with opportunities to gain various field experiences during their school years," and added, "We believe that these external activity experiences will help students achieve their dreams."
