Establishment of Cooperation System ... High Evaluation
On the 16th, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced that it had the honor of receiving both the Minister of Health and Welfare Commendation and the Gyeongsangnam-do Governor Commendation in the institution and organization category for Mental Health Day 2024 on the 10th and 11th.
This award was given in recognition of Changnyeong-gun's achievements, including ▲obtaining an excellent (A) grade in the 2024 Community Mental Health Welfare Center operation evaluation ▲promoting a public-private cooperative mental health and suicide prevention awareness improvement contest project ▲contributing to the establishment of a mental health crisis response system and the expansion of safety nets.
Park Jeong-sook, director of the Changnyeong-gun Mental Health Welfare Center, said, “Building on this achievement, we will strive even harder to improve the mental health of local residents, raise awareness of the importance of mental health, and do our best to improve negative perceptions.”
