"Don't Miss Job Opportunities"... Autumn Job Fairs Across Seoul Employment fairs hosted by each district office in Seoul will be held simultaneously this month.

Job fairs connecting hiring companies and job seekers will be held across Seoul this month. Job fairs organized by Seoul's autonomous districts are conducted to allow on-site interviews between companies looking to hire immediately and job seekers in need of employment, resulting in a relatively high employment success rate despite their scale.

Dongjak-gu will hold the "2024 Dongjak-gu Job Fair: Catch Your Job and Dream!" at Dongjak-gu Office from 4 PM on the 23rd of this month. Unlike typical job fairs, it will operate until 8 PM to accommodate career changers who can participate after work.

On this day, 35 hiring companies will conduct on-site interviews and indirect recruitment. A counseling booth for experienced workers preparing for career changes will be set up to provide customized job consultations through professional headhunters. Reflecting the area's characteristic of having many police academies, individual consultations with active police officers and free trials of Midas IT's artificial intelligence (AI) aptitude tests will be supported.

Gangdong-gu will hold a "Job Matching Day" at Gangdong-gu Office on the 24th. Five companies, including Ilhwa and Aju Design Group located in Godeok Biz Valley, will participate and plan to hire 28 people on-site after interviews with job seekers.

On the 25th, Gangdong-gu will also hold a recruitment briefing session for the IKEA Gangdong store, which is scheduled to open in the first half of next year, at the Gangdong-gu Residents' Hall. IKEA Gangdong is the fifth store nationwide and the first IKEA store located in downtown Seoul. Through the briefing session and other events, IKEA plans to hire about 200 employees. In addition to full-time regular positions, various working hours such as 16, 24, and 32 hours per week are available.

This week, Jongno-gu, Gangbuk-gu, and Geumcheon-gu are holding job fairs, and Yeongdeungpo-gu introduced about 300 jobs through a fair held on the 15th.

At the "2024 Jongno Job Fair" held by Jongno-gu on the 17th, nine companies including Hyundai S&S and Papa Mobility will participate. On the same day, Gangbuk-gu's "2024 Gangbuk-gu Job Fair" will have more than 20 companies such as McDonald's, CJ Freshway, Coupang Fulfillment Service, and Samsung Life Insurance conducting on-site recruitment interviews.

On the same day, Geumcheon-gu also held the "2024 Geumcheon-gu Job Fair Toward My Job." Geumcheon-gu operates a special recruitment zone for the information technology (IT) sector tailored to the characteristics of the region.
