The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in the '2025 Spain Textile Expo Barcelona,' which will be held from January 14 to 17 next year.
The Textile Expo is Spain's largest textile exhibition, covering everything from fashion raw materials such as yarn and fabric to finished product distribution.
Buyers from 220 brands across 12 countries, including Italy and the Netherlands, will participate, and approximately 4,200 visitors are expected to attend. The recruitment target for this exhibition is 10 textile fashion companies from the province.
The agency will support participating companies by covering 50% of booth fees, as well as interpretation costs and sample shipping fees. Applications are open until the 24th of this month and can be submitted through the EasyBiz website.
At next year's exhibition, the agency will operate a combined 'Textile Exhibition' and 'Buyer Invitation Consultation Meeting' targeting buyers to promote exports and explore new markets for local textile and fashion manufacturing companies.
Kang Seong-cheon, head of the agency, stated, "At last year's Spain textile industry exhibition, 20 local textile companies participated and achieved export contracts worth 6.42 million USD," adding, "We plan to prepare various support programs to achieve good results at next year's exhibition as well."
Meanwhile, the agency is recruiting members for the Gyeonggi Textile Marketing Center (GTC) until the end of the year to support overseas export marketing for textile companies.
Selected members can receive support for domestic and international marketing of textile companies, including discovering new buyers through branches in LA and New York, agency consultations, sample shipping support, operation of joint booths at major overseas textile exhibitions, and matching consultation meetings.
