Development of Optimization Technology for Projects Targeting Retail Market and Customer Needs
Sweet Spot announced on the 16th that it has recruited Director Lee Yong-woon as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to develop core service technologies centered on popup stores.
CTO Lee Yong-woon, who joined Sweet Spot, has proven his expertise and leadership by leading user experience improvement projects utilizing big data and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies at Netmarble, Delivery Hero Korea, Tmax, Birdview, and Gowid.
Currently, Sweet Spot is expanding its existing popup store services into a total business that provides everything from operation and planning, design, construction and dismantling, settlement, to marketing. Based on a network and data analysis accumulated over about 10 years, it offers popup store solutions and helps spread projects using its own marketing channels.
New CTO Lee Yong-woon will oversee technology and product development at the newly established Platform Headquarters and carry out overall service advancement work. He said, “As a popup store specialized company, I aim to discover Sweet Spot’s unique differentiating points and implement ultra-gap service technologies,” adding, “Through this, we will do our best to become the ‘top of mind’ company that first comes to mind when thinking of popup stores both online and offline.”
