As of 9:55 a.m. on the 16th, Maniker is trading at 1,064 won, up 12.83% (121 won) from the previous day. Harim is up 2.82% at 2,920 won, and Cherrybro is up 1.26% at 802 won.

The reason broiler stocks are showing strength is due to the news of Japan's nuclear power plant contaminated water discharge. It is interpreted that buying demand has poured into chicken-related stocks amid expectations that seafood demand may shift to chicken due to the contaminated water discharge.

Tokyo Electric Power Company announced on the 15th that it will resume the 10th ocean discharge of contaminated water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant for 19 days from the 17th to November 4th.
