Check All at Once with the 'Naeui Geongang Girok' App
Sungkyunkwan University Samsung Changwon Hospital held an opening ceremony in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the administrative building to commemorate its participation as a medical data provider in the "Health Information Highway Project" promoted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea Health Information Service.
The Health Information Highway Project is a medical MyData relay platform project that provides patients' medical records held by various medical institutions in a standardized format so that patients themselves can view them, and safely transmits selected data to desired locations based on the patient's consent.
At the opening ceremony held on the 15th, Ko Gwang-cheol, director of Samsung Changwon Hospital, received a commemorative plaque for participation as a medical data provider in the Health Information Highway from Yeom Min-seop, director of the Korea Health Information Service. In addition, the two institutions operated a promotional booth in the lobby on the 1st floor of the main building of Samsung Changwon Hospital to inform patients and visitors about how to use the Health Information Highway through the "My Health Record" app.
Visitors to the promotional booth listened to explanations about the Health Information Highway and had time to install and try using the My Health Record app themselves. They also provided their user experience to the Korea Health Information Service through a survey. The Korea Health Information Service plans to compile the survey results and reflect them in future improvements to the user experience and functionality enhancement of the My Health Record app.
