On the 16th, Paju City in Gyeonggi announced that it will hold the '2024 Paju City Greater Job Fair' at the Paju Citizens' Hall Grand Theater on the 24th.
Co-hosted with the Goyang Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor (Branch Chief Park Cheol-jun), 35 companies will participate in the event and plan to hire 357 people through one-on-one on-site interviews.
The recruitment fields include production (packaging/inspection/assembly), logistics (inventory management/material handling), office work (general affairs, purchasing, operations support, accounting, human resources management, research and development), service (customer management/nurses/nursing assistants/rehabilitation support/baristas), cleaning, cooking, nutritionists, baking and pastry, driving, and parking management.
In particular, this event increased the number of participating companies from 30 last year to 35, reflecting efforts to improve employment rates. Additionally, a youth welfare support booth for young people will be operated, adding significance as a substantial job creation and employment welfare event.
To provide timely assistance to job seekers challenging the recruitment interviews, a special lecture titled 'Interview Tips You Can Use Right Now!' is prepared as a pre-event. The pre-event will be held at 1 PM and can be attended on-site immediately.
Moreover, various side events such as ▲personal color diagnosis ▲employment tarot (career psychology) ▲fingerprint aptitude test ▲stress relief aromatherapy ▲hair & makeup will be held.
Paju City plans to actively support job matching by providing participating job seekers with ▲information on hiring companies ▲employment consulting (resume and self-introduction writing) ▲resume ID photo shooting ▲information on support systems and employment from related organizations, and by collaborating with the Goyang Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor to offer employment support services.
Mayor Kim Kyung-il of Paju said, “In these economically difficult times, I believe that creating a venue for exchange and meetings to provide diverse and vivid employment information and practical job opportunities is the unique function of the job fair.” He added, “Paju City will do its best to provide quality job services to citizens and to discover and stably operate employment support projects.”
